YWCA Central Maine is proud to offer American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Opportunities in coordination with trusted community partners.

Prerequisites: include completion of a 300 yard swim, treading water, and timed deep water object removal. All components are valid for 2 years. Must be 15 years of age or older.

Lifeguard Training – Check back for class dates

Cost: $375 (We are open to covering the cost of the course, provided you commit to continuing to work for the YWCA upon certification and complete our Training Agreement.)

Format: This course is done in a blended learning format which requires online training (approximately 5 hours to be completed before first in-person session.)
